Stand Up

“Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Remember your real enemy. Satan. He is a thief that prowls to seek, destroy, and devour (John 10:10). He whispers doubt in your ear. Lies are cultivated, they grow, and strife is born and fueled.

Call out Satan’s lies. Take a stand and be firm in faith. (1 Peter 5:8-9) Though the storm may feel like it could crush you, a very convincing lie, stand firm in victory. Just saying Jesus’ name releases His power.

Frustrated at work? Remember your real enemy.

Arguments at home? Remember your real enemy.

God is bigger than all your struggles. He’s bigger than the lies whispered in your ears. God is incomparable. Like Junior Asparagus sings in a VeggieTales episode, “God is bigger than the boogeyman…”.

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!”

Ephesians 2:4-5 CSB

God’s grace is beautiful. Nothing compares to turning your back on the lies and allowing God’s love to shine brightly around you and through you.

“I disagree with (insert lie). Lord I ask for clarity and wisdom, flood my heart with peace.”

No matter what has been said or done, grace is waiting to envelope you and those around you, allow God to be your heart surgeon. Victory is here and now, through Jesus Christ.

Let the lies go.

“With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace.”

Ephesians 4:2-3 TPT

Peace Lily

Lord-

I heard you call out “remember who is your true enemy”. I pray that hearts are changed and faces are lifted towards your light. I ask for a deep awakening, chains broken, and that no one stops to “clean up” but instead go directly to you in their anger, bitterness and strife, their hurt. That they are embraced by your mercy and know they are saved by grace in your son Jesus. I pray those who are hurt seek you and realize they can stand in victory as they speak your name. May we all recognize your great love. May we praise aloud what a great defender you are for each and every one of us.

Amen
