“Pinky swear and seal it.”
My kids and I created this saying when we made promises that could not be broken. The “seal it” was the bind that made it unbreakable. If you didn’t believe you could keep the promise then you didn’t seal it.
Sounds like a great plan but we all know circumstances come along, not caring what sealing the pinky swear means!
Thank goodness we have a God who understands how important promises are and the security that comes with an unbreakable promise. His word never fails. Every one of his promises are sealed, dependable, circumstance-free.

On our good days, he is faithful.
On our bad days , he is reliable.
When we lose our way, he is trustworthy.
When we are deep in prayer, he is true to his promises.
He meets us with promises of love, forgiveness, free will, joy, and so much more.
