Same

As events occur that change our lives forever, our Lord remains the same always.

“Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.”

Ephesians 3:12 NLT

Yesterday was a glorious day. The sun was bright, not a cloud in the sky, 60 degrees in February and the beginnings of early spring bulbs are peeping through the soil. It was like a big smile that touched everything. Night came and along with it were high winds urging in thunderstorms and risk of tornadoes. This morning brought a dreary, windy day that has not reached much above 30 degrees.

Seasons indeed change and anyone living in the Midwest knows that we can endure all four seasons in one day. Sometimes, we can see all four seasons in one moment!

While the day is filled with questions like “What season will arrive today?”, I know that my God is constant. I know He’s the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His gift of Jesus spreads hope and never waivers.

“In whom we have security and access with confidence by the faith of him.”

Ephesians 3:12 JUB

As the weather changes, we can rest in the promise of Jesus. We are offered boldness as we stand in Jesus’ name. Confidence as arrows fly. Security as we send our worries to the cross. Faith to wait on His perfect timing. Trust as we let ourselves go. We are offered all of this plus access to the Father 24/7, 365 days of the year! Now that is an insurance plan that is priceless.

Will you accept Jesus as God’s Son, sheltering Him in your heart as He takes up residence? As the world changes around you, the promise remains that God will not change.

“All this is proceeding along lines planned all along by God and then executed in Christ Jesus. When we trust in him, we’re free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go…”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Lord-

I ask that hearts reading are ever changed and will provide a place for you to dwell. May these hearts grow in boldness, confidence , security, faith, and trust as you provide access day and night.

Amen
