Seek

 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Joy was the main topic in my quiet time. While I rested in joy, I was given an image of a human form sitting on the floor, cross-legged, flame all around. The flame obscured detail of the person sitting in the midst of fire but the joy emanating was unmistakeable.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Life isn’t easy. There’s a lot happening all at once! How we meet life is important. I can allow the fire to consume me and live in agony or I can keep my eyes on Jesus and watch the work he’s doing in my life and those around me.

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

As I am being refined, receiving a heart change, my seasons have changed. My outlook is different. I welcome the joy that visits each morning…most days. 

I’m so thankful for the grace He shines down on me each and every day. 

He’s got enough for you, too. 

Seek Him in the pain.

Seek Him in the joy.

“Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face.”

Lord-

Thank you for loving us even when we struggle with finding joy, when we wrestle and are consumed by the fire. I praise you for always being bigger than all my trials, insecurities.
